Wanted: A Nigerian website
developer for a short-term website development project. (We expect the process
from first meeting to beta version to take three weeks or less). As we
have no technical skills, we do not know what kind of language-expertise is
required.
Project Overview:
1. When completed,
site must be very, very attractive!
2. Site will serve as
front-end for a back-office:
2a. Customers will be
able to place orders, interact with our offerings and write reviews of such,
view photographs etc. Further details about the specific nature of
the site will be communicated to selected developer.
2b. Back-office
employees will be able to interact with customer orders and update available
product offerings WITHOUT frequent recourse
to original website developer.

Selection Process:
1. An initial short-list
of developers will be made based on responses to this post. (Wed., Mar. 6, 2013)
2. Short-listed
developers will be sent a more detailed brief. (Fri., Mar. 8, 2013)
3. Developers will
respond with pitches including design plans, expected timings, penalties for
unreasonable delays in timings, and competitive bids. (Mon., Mar. 11, 2013)
4. Developer selection
will be made based on quality of pitch and price competitiveness. (Tue., Mar. 12, 2013)
At the various stages, communication
will be made to ALL developers.
